I've set up new my business: Sandra Vivenne's Photography. Here are a few of the pictures I have taken. They have been inspired by feelings and thoughts in random places where I have been!
The reason I took this one is becasue I like the lushness of these sofa lips! Why are these lips spaced in the way that they are...away from each other? The psychology of this space could indicate the need, as humans, for closeness and intimacy. The closeness of lips...being close to another and a passionate kiss that could never let you go. But, expereince can tell us that we can be hurt by someones lips and their kiss. The space can idicate the division between two people's lips...needing space, distance, feeling cold, a lonely, empty space. Lips are important, as lips united are an expression of finding true love. Something I am yet to find.
This is me Sandra Vivienne... a bubbly girl, who will make you laugh, and give you a hug! This picture - a Happy Girl stands behind naked statues of men hanging on... The photo dipicts the contrast of our lives; a happy girl and men who appear sad, lost and who hanging onto each other. In life we can experience a multitude of feelings and we can be placed into different emotional states, which in themselves are natural occurances in our everyday lives.
This photo, a collection of my posters, which has significance to me and my life. The photo shows Johnny Depp, an idol for me, insofar that he is an amazing actor and a natural chameleon of the big screen. His movie roles and characters are so varied. As an inspirational actor, my dream would be to work alongside him one day.
I shoot this piece of sculpture, partly for it's composition, but more importantly for it's relevance to life. I am sure that you, like me, have taken paths in life that have lead to a deadend, or a path that when found seems so right, but it doesn't seem to work. We then discern another path, which leads to a crossroads or a path that appears insurmountable and that we'll never reach the top. Sometimes, paths can takes us to places we never expected or paths which take much longer to walk along to achieve our goals. There is often a long way to go, but the journey is worth it and in the end each of us will have a unique piece of art to look back on.
I fell in love with this dress. I loved it's uniqueness! When I visualised myself clothed in this dress, I felt so special, curvy and sexy. This dress can tell you a lot about me. Maybe it's not for you, but it is for me...
